History of LCO Engagement
Over the past few years, the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Ojibwe (LCO) has taken steps to prepare for advancing cannabis. LCO has done due diligence to analyze the cannabis industry and have drafted ordinances to regulate cannabis and mitigate potential risks. LCO has also taken several steps to meet with state representatives and with other Tribes in regard to cannabis.

Collaboration with Other Tribes
Members of the Lac Courte Oreilles Cannabis Advisory Network (LCO-CAN) have visited several Tribes to tour their cannabis facilities as part of their ongoing efforts to explore and learn from other Tribal cannabis operations. As part of these visits, Proclamations of Support were given to the Tribe for their cannabis initiatives. Below are the Tribes that the LCO-CAN have visited to date.
